Robert Kraft Not Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 (2026)

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, missed out on induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. This news comes as a disappointment to Kraft, who has long desired recognition from the Hall of Fame. The announcement of the Class of 2026 will be made at NFL Honors on Thursday night, but the focus will be on those who are not inducted, particularly Bill Belichick, who also failed to make the cut. Kraft and Belichick were on a five-person ballot alongside former players Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and L.C. Greenwood. The 50 Hall of Fame voters had to select three candidates, and any candidate receiving 40 votes would be enshrined. While at least one of Anderson, Craig, and Greenwood will be inducted, Kraft and Belichick fell short of the required 40 votes. Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is reportedly planning a celebration for his induction day, and with Kraft now confirmed to be available, he might be on the guest list.
